Sixteen-time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas is recovering from back surgery after undergoing a microdiscectomy on November 25 to address a disc issue that had been causing hip pain, and he is now in the rehabilitation phase. 

We haven't seen him win since the RBC Heritage in April 2025, his first victory since the 2022 PGA Championship, which helped him move back into the top 10 of the world rankings. Let's see how he has fared over the last five years.

Justin Thomas’s PGA Tour Wins from 2021 to 2025

Justin Thomas won once in 2021, taking The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass for his 14th PGA Tour title after closing with rounds of 64 and 68 to beat Lee Westwood by one stroke. 

He followed that in 2022 with another single win, capturing the PGA Championship at Southern Hills for his 15th career victory after rallying from seven shots back and defeating Will Zalatoris in a playoff.

Thomas went winless in 2023 and 2024, missing the FedEx Cup Playoffs and slipping in the rankings, although he still posted strong finishes in 2024, including a runner-up at the ZOZO Championship and a T8 at the PGA Championship. 

Thomas ended the drought in April 2025 by winning the RBC Heritage in a sudden-death playoff over Andrew Novak for his 16th PGA Tour win.

Justin Thomas’s PGA Tour Earnings from 2020-21 to 2025

In 2020-21, he made 23 starts, made 21 cuts, and earned $6,537,153 in prize money while finishing fourth in the FedExCup standings.

In 2022-23, his earnings dropped to $3,566,403 after 21 starts and 15 made cuts, and he finished 71st in the FedExCup standings.

Justin Thomas rebounded in 2024, making 16 cuts in 20 starts and earning $5,223,561 while returning to the postseason and finishing T14 in the FedExCup.

Thomas then posted his highest total of the stretch in 2025, earning $10,896,155 across 21 starts with 19 made cuts, while ending the season seventh in the FedExCup standings.
