Brittany Henderson caddied for 13 of her sister's 14 LPGA victories. Now she's expecting her first child, and Brooke Henderson is finding her rhythm with someone new on the bag.

Henderson spoke Tuesday, June 16, at her pre-tournament press conference ahead of the 2026 Meijer LPGA Classic at Blythefield Country Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Asked about her current team setup, the two-time winner at this event said her cousin has slotted in, and the partnership is clicking.

Her cousin, Ryan Henderson, who has now taken over the role, grew up playing golf with her, and this has made the switch easier.

"We used to grow up playing a lot of golf together, so we know each other really well off the course and then also on the course, he knows my game really well and when to say things and when not to, which is really key," Henderson said.

"I feel like we just kind of started to find our rhythm and groove, and I'm excited for the rest of the summer."

This caddie change happened after experienced caddie John Killeen carried the bag for most of the early season. He took over when Brittany stepped away after announcing her pregnancy.

However, the change has not been easy. Brittany had been Brooke’s caddie since the beginning of her professional career. They worked together for over 10 years on tour.

Both of her parents are at Blythefield this week, and her father, Dave, is also her coach. Her strong relationship with her caddie is one reason she feels positive this week. The other reason is how well she is playing right now.

Brooke Henderson Says Her Game Is Trending in the Right Direction Ahead of a Big Summer

A top-25 finish at the U.S. Women's Open gave Henderson something to build on. She said she felt she could have finished even higher. But shooting 4-under on the back nine on Sunday gave her real confidence heading into the summer stretch.

" I feel like my game has been coming and trending in the right direction for a while now, " Henderson said.

"So just trying to fine-tune on some things we want to improve on. This week feels like there is a lot of good memories and things from the past that we can kind of lean into a little bit, and that experience, and also just trying to be the best we can."

She has won at Blythefield twice, in 2017 and 2019. A third would be something she said has been on her mind. The course suits her. Tree-lined fairways and reachable par-5s remind her of the courses she grew up playing in Canada.

Playing this week also serves a purpose beyond the trophy. The course conditions are similar to what she will face at next week's major. Also, Henderson said getting into competitive shape before a major event matters.

Do you think Brooke Henderson's new caddie partnership can help her claim a third Meijer LPGA Classic title this week?
