Two million views in less than three days. That's the staggering reach NBA legend LeBron James has achieved in his new YouTube golf endeavor. Analyst Trent Ryan has, however, spotted a unique anomaly in his virality.

Three days ago, James launched his new YouTube golf channel, and the response has been extraordinary. Golf analyst Trent Ryan points out on his podcast Fore Play the massive reach of James. 

“For some reason, and I have no logic to back this up, but I think golf videos going on to LeBron James' YouTube golf channel will be bigger than the ones that are already established,” said Ryan of his Fore Play podcast via X. 

We’re already seeing the signs. James’ first YT video titled “The 2016 Cavs 10-year Reunion Golf Scramble” has reached the two million viewership mark in less than three days. 

The 96-minute-long video has surged his subscriber count to 550K. The NBA legend’s reunion with his old teammates on a course in Scotland has gone viral.

Amidst all this, Ryan has spotted a unique anomaly that can become the trend for James' upcoming videos.

“I watched a little bit of his video that he put out, and I went down in the comments to like just check out what people were saying, and it was a lot of, like, people who don't normally watch golf content,” Ryan added on his Fore Play podcast via X. “So I think it's just going to hit a different audience, and that audience is massive.” 

With more than 231 million followers, James is already the most followed NBA superstar on social media. His fans flooded in with the views on his brand-new golf channel. 

Golf professional Rick Shiels (3M subs) and two-time major winner Bryson DeChambeau (2.8M) currently lead YouTube golf. James is on pace to overtake both.

Now, with James in the frame, it’s just a matter of time that the four-time NBA MVP takes the throne.  In fact, James is already welcomed by PGA Tour stars. 

Sam Burns: LeBron's impact on golf is 'great for our sport'

Five-time PGA Tour winner Sam Burns pointed out on Tuesday morning that LeBron James would have a massive impact on golf. The 30-year-old is happy to have him around on the courses. 

"I think as a fan of golf, I mean, to have LeBron James be a supporter and obviously growing the game is great," Burns told TMZ Sports. "He has such an impact on so many people around the world. So it's great for our sport. It's great for what he's doing for it. And we're happy to see him out there enjoying some golf." 

Both Ryan and Burns see James as a game-changer for golf. The massive following that the NBA legend boasts will only prove instrumental for the sport. 

Burns also looks forward to playing a round of golf with the NBA star. Ryan also believed that the right collaboration would be key for James in his new venture.
