Anthony Kim Has Changed His LIV Story With 4 Aces Signing

Anthony Kim's comeback has a new home. Just one month after earning his LIV promotion, the once-retired star has officially signed with Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces.
Speaking at The Grange Golf Club, Kim said, "I'm excited. This is a new chapter, and hopefully I can benefit the team."
The 40-year-old signed a one-year contract with Dustin Johnson's team. He will replace Patrick Reed, who played out his contract with LIV and chose to play the DP World Tour, and will return to the PGA after finishing the World Tour.

Anthony Kim is among the three new entries to the team alongside Thomas Detry and Thomas Pieters. Demoted from the LIV Golf at the end of last season, Kim earned back his place in the tournament following his third-place finish at the LIV promotions held in January.
But his troubles didn't end there. His spot hung in the balance as he was denied entry into Australia because he forgot to apply for a visa. In the end, everything was resolved, and he is expected to join the rest of his team in Adelaide on February 12 for the second LIV event.
The event will mark the complete return of Anthony Kim after retiring early on from the sport due to injury. And even after a 12-year hiatus, Kim has been putting up stellar performances.
That's Why Anthony Kim's Teammates Are Excited
Speaking about Kim's entry into the team, Johnson said, "Obviously, he’s trending in the right direction. When you take that long from the game, it takes a while to get it back. But I’ve played enough with him, and you can tell it’s still in there. He’s been working really hard, and I think he’s going to be a really good addition."
Kim is coming off an impressive streak of performances in LIV. Last week, at the ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh, Kim scored his best finish at LIV in two years, a 22nd-place tie finish.
And even before that, at the PIF Saudi International, in November, he tied for fifth, his first top-10 finish since his return to the sport. Filling the hole Patrick Reed left won't be easy, but Kim certainly looks like he's up to the challenge.
