Anthony Kim LIV Golf Earnings: How Rich the Saudi League Made Him Since He Joined Till the 2025 Season

Jan 11, 2026, 3:30 PM CUT

Anthony Kim returned to competitive golf when he joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf League in 2024 after a 12-year hiatus. Kim’s comeback was highly talked about because he had retired early due to injury.

The league is known for offering large purses and big contracts to attract top players from the PGA Tour and other tours. Though he was relegated at the end of the 2025 season, he now stands at T2 in the LIV Golf promotions third-round leaderboard. And is considered to be a wild-card entry.

Earnings From Tournament Play

When Kim played LIV Golf in 2024, his on-course earnings were modest compared with the sport’s biggest stars. In his first 11 LIV events, he earned roughly $867,867 as an individual's earnings. Most of this came from finishes in the lower half of the leaderboard, where the league still guarantees payouts.

In the 2025 season, Kim continued to compete and added more money to his LIV total. According to the LIV Golf money list for 2025, he finished the season with $1,208,083 in prize money.

For example, at the 2025 LIV Golf Miami event, Kim's T29 result earned him approximately $170,000 from his season total. Although it was far from top-level money, it was a significant contribution to his total earnings.

Signing Bonus and Total Wealth Impact

Beyond his tournament earnings, Kim is widely reported to have received a LIV Golf signing bonus of $7.5 million.

Taking this bonus into account alongside his LIV prize money, Kim’s financial return from the league is significant, even if he hasn’t competed at the top of the leaderboard. His overall net worth by early 2025 is estimated at around $10 million. With much of that tied to past PGA Tour success as well as his LIV stint.

Anthony Kim has played a total of 23 events in his career since he joined LIV Golf and managed to earn over $2 million.

Where Kim Stands Compared to Others

Compared to the top spot earnings in LIV Golf, Kim's total money is quite small. Big names such as Jon Rahm, Joaquin Niemann, and Talor Gooch have racked up tens of millions via prize money and bonuses. However, Kim's paycheck reflects how far the league's purse distribution extends. Even mid-tier players are still capable of earning over a million dollars in two or three seasons.

LIV Golf has pretty much changed Kim's life in terms of money. He's been getting guaranteed payouts and a pretty hefty signing bonus that has kept his bank account happy even as he is working on regaining his competitive form.
