Canada's Brooke Henderson had plenty of ground to make up at the Amundi Evian Championship entering Sunday's final round.
Starting the day seven strokes behind the lead, the Canadian produced one of the tournament's most memorable rounds to put herself back in the title conversation.
"Yeah, it was a lot of fun out there," said Henderson. "I'm proud of the run I made. Congrats to Haeran. It was a lot of fun out there, but I'm pleased with how I played, and it gives me a lot of confidence."

"Anytime you shoot seven-under par in the final round, it gives you a big confidence boost. I started the day seven back, so it was cool," she added, as shown on Golf Channel's X post.
Henderson's charge was fueled by three eagles, which came at the par-5 7th, the par-3 8th, where she made a hole-in-one, and the 18th.
The most important one came at the final hole after Ryu shot her only birdie of the round. Henderson landed the 6-foot eagle putt and finished at 19-under to force the playoff.
“To finish second in a major and third a couple of weeks ago, definitely game is in a really good spot. Obviously, very exciting to get into the playoff,” Henderson said.
Henderson failed to match Ryu’s birdie on the first hole of the playoff. As a result, the Canadian was unable to secure the third major title of her career.
For Ryu, it was back-to-back major titles.
Haeran Ryu finds her run of form unbelievable
Ryu entered the final round with a three-stroke lead. However, she struggled on Sunday and failed to hold on to it.
"It was tough today because I putted poorly. But thankfully I made birdie on the last hole. That was important. I was nervous but made it, so very happy with the last two birdies. This is just a dream. I didn't have a major and now have two in a row. I can't believe it right now,” said Ryu on Golf Channel.
Ryu’s only birdie in the closing round came at the final hole. She carried that momentum into the playoff and secured the title with another birdie.
The South Korean added to last month's KPMG Women's PGA Championship title and now has two major titles in her trophy cabinet.
