Brooks Koepka has begun the process of restoring his PGA Tour status after returning through the Returning Member Program on January 12. However, his return comes with conditions that shape his schedule and entry into key events.

Koepka must compete in at least 15 PGA Tour-sanctioned events during the 2026 season. Meeting this requirement is necessary for him to retain full playing rights for the 2027 season.

To begin with, Koepka competed at the Farmers Insurance Open on January 29 at Torrey Pines. This marked his first PGA Tour start in more than three years.

He made the cut on the number and completed all four rounds. As a result, he finished tied for 56th with a total score of 284, which was 4-under par.

Following that, Koepka played the WM Phoenix Open on February 5 at TPC Scottsdale. In contrast to his previous start, he did not advance past the cut. He recorded rounds of 75 and 69 for a total score of 144, which was 2-over par. Consequently, he missed the cut by three strokes.

As a result, his schedule includes a mix of regular events and major championships

Brooks Koepka’s 2026 Regular PGA Tour Events Schedule

Brooks Koepka is scheduled to compete in the Cognizant Classic on February 26 at TPC Palm Beach Gardens.

Five-time major winner has also expressed his anticipation for the event, pointing to its importance in his schedule: "I'm looking forward to competing at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches in front of so many fans who've supported me from the start,"

Koepka said in a statement. "I'm grateful for the chance to once again be part of my hometown event." He will make his seventh appearance at the 2026 Cognizant Classic.

This will be followed by The Players Championship on March 12 at TPC Sawgrass and then the Valspar Championship on March 19 at the Copperhead Course.

His return to TPC Sawgrass brings attention to a tournament where he has produced some of his most notable moments outside the major championships.

Notably, his 2018 performance stands out as his most significant result at the venue. During the final round, he recorded an albatross on the par-5 16th hole after holing a 6-iron from 208 yards.

This marked only the second albatross recorded on that hole in tournament history. He also posted a score of 63, which matched the course record at the time. As a result, he moved up the leaderboard after starting the day tied for 63rd.

Koepka later finished the tournament tied for 11th, marking his best result at The Players Championship.

Brooks Koepka’s 2026 Major Championship Schedule

Brooks Koepka's 2026 schedule includes all four major championships. Two-time runner-up at Augusta National, Koepka is scheduled to compete in the 2026 Masters Tournament on April 9 as he continues his pursuit of a first win at the venue.

Over his career, he has made 10 starts there, including two runner-up finishes. A month later, he will compete in the PGA Championship on May 14 at Aronimink, the major he won in 2023.

That victory not only marked his third PGA Championship title but also played a key role in his eligibility for the PGA Tour’s Returning Member Program.

He will then play the U.S. Open on June 18 at Shinnecock Hills a major where he has recorded past success. He won the tournament in 2017 and defended the title in 2018.

This helped him become one of the few players to win the U.S. Open in consecutive years and the first to do so since Curtis Strange in 1989.

Finally, he is scheduled to compete in The Open on July 16 at Royal Birkdale. While he has not won this major, he has recorded several top-10 finishes.

Notably, his best result came in 2019, when he finished tied for fourth at Royal Portrush.
