Last week, on December 23, Brooks Koepka parted ways with the Saudi-backed circuit, which was a major blow. With Koepka’s departure, attention moves to other players whose contracts end next year.

Bryson DeChambeau is among those in focus, as his contract runs through the end of the 2026 season and discussions about his future are ongoing..

In an exclusive conversation with Tom Hobbs of Flushing It Golf on December 28, 2025, DeChambeau addressed his contract situation and confirmed that discussions are ongoing.

“I mean, look, it’s confidential. I’m not going to share too much, but the conversations are in process,” DeChambeau said.

DeChambeau is a two-time U.S. Open champion and a central name in the league. He also runs the Break 50 series on YouTube and uploads additional golf content across his social channels

“We have to get to a place where both parties have a good understanding of one another. It is getting to a place that makes sense for both sides.”

DeChambeau signed his initial LIV Golf contract in June 2022, agreeing to a deal that was reported at around $125 million to join the Saudi-backed league.

DeChambeau made his first LIV Golf appearance at Pumpkin Ridge in Portland, which was the league’s first event held in the United States.

Koepka’s exit removes a five-time major champion from LIV Golf. With his departure, attention moves to DeChambeau, whose upcoming contract decision will determine his next step in professional golf.
