While Bryson DeChambeau has spent a lot of time with the Trump family, according to Kai Trump, it has not made him her favorite golfer.

Despite the frequent interactions and a shared love for golf, when Kai Trump was asked on the IMPAULSIVE podcast on January 7 about her favorite golfer, Kai Trump said:

“Bryson’s a great guy. I know him really well. Great golfer. And obviously, he does his own social media stuff, and he’s killing it. Tiger Woods is my favorite golfer. He’s the best."

Well, with Woods' 15 major wins, it certainly isn't a surprise. He's been a mentor to young Kai for quite some time now. In March 2025, Woods confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Trump, Kai's mother. Later, Woods arrived at the Genesis Invitational with Kai Trump in tow.

He even offered her some advice before her LPGA debut in Florida in November 2025.  

“He [Tiger Woods] told me to go out there and have fun and just go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens.” Kai Trump said when asked about Woods’ advice.

And there's another thing Kai Trump could learn from Tiger Woods

During the same podcast, Kai talked about becoming a pro-golfer, but acknowledged the difficulties.

"Golf, I think, is one of the toughest sports mentally. You can be playing amazing one day and shoot the best score of your life. And you can go out the next day and shoot the worst score of your entire life."

Woods has seen this inconsistency at times. Following his 2008 U.S. Open win, Tiger didn't win another major for over a decade. Then in 2019, he came back and won the Master's!

"To have the opportunity to come back like this, it is probably one of the biggest wins I've had."

Perhaps we could see Kai get advice from Woods about finding that consistency and rediscovering that fire down the line.
