Charley Hull earned $749,000 for winning the PIF Saudi Ladies International. That’s a lot of money, but two other golfers that same weekend made even more, in millions.

Hull finished with a 65 at Riyadh Golf Club on February 14, 2026, ending 19-under to win the LET season opener. As a result, the 29-year-old English golfer pocketed $749,000 from the $5 million tournament purse.

Just hours later, on February 15, Collin Morikawa and Anthony Kim both broke their several-years-long winless streaks. Morikawa won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and earned a whopping $3.6 million, while Kim took home $4 million with a victory at LIV Golf Adelaide. Three winners, same weekend, but very different prizes.

Morikawa finished 22-under at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, beating Min Woo Lee and Sepp Straka by one stroke. He earned $3.6 million from a $9.6 million purse at the PGA Tour Signature Event, almost five times what Hull made.

Kim’s comeback is even bigger. The 40-year-old hadn’t won since 2010. After losing his LIV Golf card and working his way back through the Promotions event, Kim joined Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces team.

At Adelaide, he shot 9-under 63 in the final round to finish 23-under. He beat Jon Rahm by three strokes and earned $4 million from LIV Golf’s $20 million individual prize.

Hull’s $749,000 is less than 19 percent of what Kim won.

According to Golf News Net, the three tournaments had different prize setups. PGA Tour Signature Events had $9.6 million purses. LIV Golf events offered $20 million for individual players. The LET’s biggest event had a $5 million purse.

Hull played really well on the back nine at Riyadh Golf Club. She made an eagle on the 12th and four birdies, finishing the nine holes in 31. Casandra Alexander and Akie Iwai finished one shot behind and got $375,000 each.

Charley Hull’s Winning Prize Highlighted an Issue in Golf

The PIF Saudi Ladies International's $5 million tournament purse is the same as the PIF Saudi International for men. Most LPGA Tour events have purses between $1.5 million and $3 million.

However, the PGA Tour has 17 Signature Events, each with a $20 million purse, and all 14 LIV Golf events also offer $20 million for individual players.

The victories were special to each player as Morikawa hadn’t won in 45 starts, Kim went 5,795 days without a victory and Hull won her first title of 2026. But while Hull's payout stood below a million, the multi-million-dollar winning prizes in men’s golf events show how far women’s golf still has to catch up.
