In September 2025, Charley Hull appeared on Sky Sports Golf’s The Pursuit with Kelly Cates. She showed a side that fans don’t usually see. The host asked what helps Hull stay grounded
"I love spending time with my family and just doing normal things... I'm not really one to live like I don't like too flashy stuff," Charley Hull told Cates.
The 29-year-old said she’s a ‘big countryside girl’ who prefers things many might consider drab. "I like going on like dog walks and walks and just chilling," Hull said on The Pursuit.

"And even though I like dressing up and stuff, but I do just love normal things as well," explained the LPGA star.
Hull’s tour outfits with bright patterns, smoking during rounds, and her bold attitude get a lot of attention. However, she keeps her personal life separate.
Cates said, "You can be two different things." Hull replied, "Yeah, for sure."
Charley Hull's Advice to Young Golfers Comes From Hard Lessons
When Cates mentioned that Hull is a role model for young female golfers, Hull first didn’t agree. She started playing golf young and only recently realized how much influence she has.
"Don't do things to please people. Do things to please you because you ain't going to be happy in life if you just do everything to please everyone else," Hull said.
"Just practice hard if you want to be a professional golfer. Enjoy it and just live your life," Hull continued. "You just got to forget about it, the bad shot, and move on to the next one," she said about overthinking the bad rounds.
