Charlie Woods may be searching for his first win of the season, but that has not stopped his stock from rising off the course.
The 17-year-old has climbed to No. 1 in the Golf NIL rankings with a valuation of $3 million, the highest ever recorded since the system was introduced in 2024.
Despite his recent struggles in competition, Woods' growing profile and popularity continue to make him one of the most valuable names in amateur golf.

Following Woods is Kai Trump, who is valued at $2.25M. Jackson Koivun, who is currently making his debut as a PGA Tour member, follows at $1.75M, as per Golf NIL.
The valuations depend on many factors. A player's visibility, performance, and brand activity affect their market value.
On top of that, the Golf NIL Top 10 lists the highest-valued amateur golfers across Golf NIL's four ranking boards, which include the Golf NIL College Men's Rankings, Golf NIL College Women's Rankings, Golf NIL High School Boys Rankings, and Golf NIL High School Girls Rankings.
Despite having no reported NIL deals yet, Woods sits comfortably at the top. Having recently opened an Instagram account, the 17-year-old already has 163K followers.
The youngster does know how to drive viewership. Florida State's regular-season schedule is followed closely each week, and much of the credit goes to Woods.
For NIL representation, Woods has reportedly partnered with Players Group Management alongside Miles Russell, the world's top-ranked junior, who is fifth in the Golf NIL rankings.
However, on the other hand, Woods has struggled on the course.
Woods’ performances as of late
Woods has played just seven events this season and has not yet secured a win.
With a score of 288, Woods' best finish came at the Junior Orange Bowl International Championship in January. He secured a tie for 19th place.
Besides that, it has been a string of disappointing performances for the 17-year-old.
At the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods, he finished 68th, and at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, he ended up 36th, as recorded on the AJGA.
Woods recorded his worst performance at the all-ages Florida Amateur Championship, where he failed to make the cut.
In May, he also failed to defend his Team TaylorMade Invitational title, which he won in iconic fashion last year.
