“Doesn’t Really Bother Me”: Charley Hull Shrugs Off the Special Occasion With Simple Plans

For golfers, birthdays offer a moment to reflect on the rounds played and the fairways that are waiting for them.
However, LET Star Charley Hull brushed away the idea of big celebrations for her special day this March.
She discussed her plans for her 30th birthday in a press conference at the Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore on 25th February, 2026.
“I don't really celebrate birthdays. It doesn't really bother me, to be fair,” she responded when asked about her plans for her big day. “It's just another day, really, as I see it.”
Even looking at her social media for past years, Hull typically celebrates her birthday integrating it into her daily routine to the special day rather than being at a public event.
“Probably just have more -- just have my family and friends over to my house for a barbecue or something,” Hull said, adding that she's renovating her house.
Charley Hull now ranks No. 3 in the world, marking one of the highest positions achieved by an English woman in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings ever since it started in 2006.
Charley Hull’s Journey From a Child Prodigy to Chasing Majors
Ever since turning pro at the young age of 17, the Solheim Cup star has competed in several tournaments, including the 2016 CME Group Tour Championship.
In addition to being a representative for Team Europe, she also has a significant role in the 2019 and 2021 Solheim Cups.
Even though she has had her fair share of top-10 finishes, Hull recently won the PIF Saudi Ladies International event, held from 11th to 14th February 2026, on the LET by finishing 19-under-par.
While this is a major feat, four more championships remain this LPGA season. Her ambition is clear: “I always like really want to win a major. That’s my goal,” she said.
Hull is currently competing in one of the biggest LPGA championships of this season at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, held from 26th February to 1st March, 2026 at the Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore.
For Hull, birthdays may be “just another day,” but the year is shaping up to be anything but ordinary.
