Donald Trump adds another Club Championship as his golf record continues to grow

With an incredibly low score, US President Donald Trump has found success at his golf club in Bedminster. His stacked trophy collection grew by two more over the weekend.
At Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, the US President took his win tally to 40th across his golf clubs. However, his record is often questioned.
Trump shot a 2-under-par score of 70 in New Jersey. That was enough to win him both the club and senior championships at his golf course.

Trump was applauded in front of the club leaderboard, as shown on NUCLR GOLF’s X post. Last year, he claimed to have shot 69, and this time, he crossed the line at 70, a respectable score on the course.
"I’ve played a lot, and I’ve played well. There are very few people who can beat me in golf," Trump said earlier.
However, PGA professional and level 2 certified Trackman Instructor, Craig Normansell, had questioned his game.
"He can clearly step up to a ball and strike it, but when it comes to the short game, he looks like he's going to be found out sooner or later," Normansell told the Daily Beast. "It certainly doesn't look like the level of someone who's won 18 club championships."
Yet skeptics have long questioned whether his record reflects genuine skill.
Questions linger over Donald Trump's record
Sportswriter Rick Reilly has come out strongly against Donald Trump over the years. He has accused the 80-year-old of cheating on multiple occasions.
"When it comes to cheating, he’s an 11 on a scale of one to 10," Reilly once said, as per The Mirror's Joseph McBride.
Former Sports Illustrated managing editor Mark Mulvoy has also accused Trump of cheating back in the mid-1990s. There are claims that the US President moves his ball a lot.
"The swing itself is not likely a technique that would accomplish 18 club championships or a 2.8 handicap," Robert Macgregor, a U.S.-based professional golf coach at TeachMe.To, told the Daily Beast.
However, now, Trump has 40 club championships to his name.
