Dustin Johnson never talked much about money. He just kept earning more and more, and the amounts that he has amassed from his PGA Tour and LIV Golf tenures can blow the minds of many.
The 41-year-old golfer from Columbia, South Carolina, has an estimated net worth of $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He earned $75.8 million in official PGA Tour prize money, won a $15 million FedEx Cup bonus in 2020, and reportedly received $125 million when he joined LIV Golf in 2022.
When you add his $125 million signing bonus from LIV Golf to the money he earned from tournaments, Johnson has made more than $200 million in his career. That does not even include money from sponsorships and endorsements.

Including his FedEx Cup bonus, Johnson ranks third on the all-time PGA Tour money list, just behind Tiger Woods with $120 million and Phil Mickelson with $92 million. Without the FedEx Cup bonus, he drops to fifth place.
Johnson turned professional in 2007 and won his first event at the 2008 Turning Stone Resort Championship. He went on to claim 24 PGA Tour titles across 321 starts, including the 2016 U.S. Open and the 2020 Masters Tournament.
He was ranked World No. 1 for 64 weeks starting in 2017. That is one of the five longest runs at the top in golf history. 2020 was one of the best seasons of his pro-golfing career so far. The 41-year-old won the Travelers Championship, the Northern Trust, the Tour Championship, and the Masters Tournament. Those wins helped make him one of the highest-earning golfers ever.
LIV added another layer entirely. Johnson joined in June 2022 as one of the league's first high-profile recruits and won the LIV Individual Championship that same year, earning an $18 million points list bonus.
His total LIV prize money across 56 events stands at $65,518,005, making him the fourth-highest earner in LIV history.
Dustin Johnson Lost His Biggest Sponsor the Moment He Signed With LIV
When Dustin Johnson joined LIV Golf in June 2022, he quickly lost his main sponsor, Royal Bank of Canada. It was the biggest public loss from his decision to join the Saudi-backed league.
But things went very well for him on the golf course after that. Johnson won the LIV Golf Individual Championship in his first season and earned an extra $18 million bonus. His team, 4 Aces GC, also won four team events in a row after the league started.
Johnson has earned $65.5 million in prize money from LIV Golf in 56 events. That is the fourth-highest total in LIV Golf history through LIV Golf Virginia 2026.
Many people focused on the sponsors he lost after joining LIV Golf. But the reported $125 million signing bonus, his individual championship, and his team’s success in the first year showed how much the move helped him financially.
Did you know he had already earned so much money before joining LIV Golf in 2022?
