John Daly picked up a guitar at the Regions Tradition Pro-Am and sang “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan.

The video was shared on May 2 before the tournament in Birmingham, Alabama. Daly is also playing in the Regions Tradition as part of the PGA Tour Champions.

Daly showcased his musical side during the pro-am event in Birmingham. Daly looked calm, enjoyed the moment, and had a good time on the course.

For Daly, music is not just a hobby. It has been a big part of his life for over 20 years. Before playing guitar at the Regions Tradition Pro-Am, Daly had already built a music career.

He released his first album, My Life, in 2002 with Willie Nelson and Darius Rucker as guest vocalists. In 2010, he released I Only Know One Way, which included his version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door, the same song he played at the pro-am.

In 2022, he worked with Willie Nelson again on Whiskey & Water. Daly is still making music today, with new releases in 2024 and 2026, showing that his love for music is as strong as his love for golf.

So, John Daly playing guitar at the Regions Tradition Pro-Am was not a surprise.
