Joaquín Niemann left LIV Golf Korea with another trophy, but he also took time to recognize fellow Torque GC player Scott Vincent.
After the event in Busan, Niemann praised Vincent's work ethic and pointed to the effort he sees from the Zimbabwean during practice.
The two players spent the final two rounds together at the Asiad Country Club. Niemann went on to win the tournament in a playoff against Talor Gooch for his record eighth LIV Golf individual title. Vincent finished solo fifth at nine-under and earned $800,000.
Niemann, speaking in a press conference shared by LIV Golf on X, said Vincent's preparation has stood out to him.
"I feel like he's developed as a player big time," Niemann said. "The way you see him practising, he's always the first one in the gym, he's always the first one on the range, on the putting green, he'll be there until the end of the day."
Niemann also congratulated Vincent on his performance in Korea and highlighted his recent consistency.
"I want to also congratulate Scott for his week and the way he's playing," Niemann said. "I feel he's been really consistent since he came back."
Vincent's finish in Korea continued a strong start to the 2026 season. The Zimbabwean entered the event with four top-15 finishes in his first seven LIV Golf starts of the year and added another high finish with his solo result in Busan.
The performance carried added significance given his recent path back to the league. Vincent lost his LIV Golf status in 2024, then returned to the Asian Tour before returning to LIV Golf.

The prize pushed his LIV Golf career earnings past $12 million. Before LIV Golf Korea, he had earned $11.29 million on the circuit.
Niemann referenced Vincent's path back to LIV Golf while discussing his teammate's recent form.
"You know, he played on 2024, I think, then back to Asian Tour and back to LIV, and he's ready for action now," Niemann said. "He's a great player, great guy."
The 34-year-old has competed on several tours since turning professional in 2015, including the Sunshine Tour, DP World Tour, Japan Challenge Tour, and PGA Tour Canada. He has won three times on the Japan Golf Tour, twice on the Asian Tour, and once on the Japan Challenge Tour.
