18-year-old golf star Kai Trump attended the December 19 Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua boxing match at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. And she made it quite clear who she supported.

"I grew up watching Jake Paul and Logan Paul," Trump said in the vlog she uploaded on December 29, 24 Hours with Logan and Jake Paul. The video also captured the influencer-golfer's reaction to seeing Paul lose.

Despite Long Paul's best efforts to agitate Joshua from the sidelines, he was ahead on the judges' scorecards. While the fight lasted six rounds, the former world champion did end up knocking Paul out in the 6th round.

After the match ended, Kai Trump recorded her reaction in the vlog, saying, “That is crazy... I feel bad, yeah." However, it wasn't all bad for the golfer, as she got to keep a memento from the fight.

At the end of her vlog, Kai Trump showed a red and black leather Jake Paul jacket with “PAUL” written on the back. Donald Trump's granddaughter also got to set up a future collaboration with Paul.

Jake Paul's offer to Kai Trump

During a backstage interaction before the fight, Jake Paul made plans with Kai Trump. “Hey, we got to go golfing, too, at some point. I've never really played,” said Paul.

"Yeah for sure," Kai Trump said. “Maybe some boxing, too. You can teach me a few things. You can teach me in a few days," she joked.

Meanwhile, Paul revealed that while he lives on a golf course, he doesn't play. During the conversation, Trump also spoke about her time in Miami.

"I’m going to the University of Miami. I signed there like two weeks ago," said the 18-year-old. Kai Trump is scheduled to play collegiate golf for the University of Miami beginning in 2026 and currently competes as an amateur.

She has participated in junior and high school tournaments, including the ANNIKA LPGA event through a sponsor exemption, where she missed the cut.

Trump was ranked approximately 461st in the American Junior Golf Association girls’ standings in late 2025 and has received guidance from professional golfers, including Tiger Woods.
