Brooks Koepka returned to the PGA Tour with a tied 56th finish at two-under par. He made the move back from LIV Golf last month. 

Over four rounds at the Farmers Insurance Open, Koepka posted scores of 73, 68, 73, and 70.

After four rounds at the Farmers Insurance Open, Koepka was asked about heading next week to a course where he has past success and what he is looking forward to.

Sharing his excitement, Koepka said he is looking forward to playing the Waste Management Phoenix Open next week, a venue where he last won on the PGA Tour in 2021.

"Yeah, it will be good. I enjoy next week. I love the chaos, I think it's fun. It's been four years since I've been back, so I'm excited to return to a place I'm familiar with, comfortable at, and one I love."

Brooks Koepka is competing in the 2026 Waste Management Phoenix Open, scheduled from February 2–8. This marks another start at an event he has played several times. 

Over the years, TPC Scottsdale has played an important role in his career. It was here that Koepka earned his first PGA TOUR victory in 2015.

Koepka closed that week with a final-round 66. He returned to the winner’s circle at the same event in 2021, sealing the win with a chip-in eagle on the 17th hole.

In 2026, Koepka is making his sixth career appearance at the tournament. Earlier this year, he officially rejoined the PGA TOUR in January 2026 through the Returning Member Program.

Brooks Koepka features in the field as the Waste Management Phoenix Open starts in Arizona

The 2026 Waste Management Phoenix Open, also called The People’s Open, is being held from February 2–8 at TPC Scottsdale. This marks the 91st edition of the tournament.

A field of 123 players is competing for a total purse of $9.6 million. The winner will earn $1,728,000.

Before the tournament begins, the week features pro-ams and fan events. The 72-hole PGA TOUR competition officially starts on Thursday.

Looking at the field, the defending champion will not return. Thomas Detry, who won in 2025, has since moved to LIV Golf and is not playing this year.

Meanwhile, Scottie Scheffler headlines the event. The world No. 1 won here in 2022 and 2023. He leads a field that also includes Xander Schauffele, Viktor Hovland, Collin Morikawa, and Brooks Koepka, who is making his second PGA Tour start since returning from LIV Golf.

Off the course, fan activities remain part of the schedule. To open the week, The Killers performed a concert at the 16th-hole Coliseum on Saturday, January 31.
