"I Really Like Aronimink": Bryson DeChambeau Sends PGA Championship Warning After Red-Hot LIV Form

Crushers GC captain Bryson DeChambeau is going into the 2026 PGA Championship after playing some of his best golf in years. He carries significant momentum after securing two wins in his last six starts.

He comes in with strong form, recording four top-3 finishes in his last six LIV Golf events, including two wins. DeChambeau has finished T4, second, and T2 in his last three PGA Championship appearances, never finishing outside the top 5.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, he made his feelings about the venue clear.

"I really like Aronimink," he said. "I played it in 2018 after I won two events, and it rained that week, so I didn't do my best from what I remember because I wasn't very good back then in wet conditions. But it will be running faster this year."

"It's gonna be a great test of golf. I love the golf course. I feel good. I'm playing good. But you always need the golf gods in your favour. And hopefully I can contend again," DeChambeau added.

His 2018 visit to Aronimink produced a T19 finish at the BMW Championship, with rounds of 67, 70, 64, and 67. The conditions this week are very different from what he faced eight years ago. This time, the course is firm and fast rather than wet and soft like before.

DeChambeau will tee off on Thursday at 8:18 a.m. ET alongside Ludvig Åberg and Rickie Fowler.

This week, many people have been talking about the uncertain future of LIV Golf after Saudi PIF reportedly said it will not support the league after 2026.

But DeChambeau wants the focus to return to his golf.

Bryson DeChambeau and 10 LIV Players Tee It Up at Aronimink With Everything to Prove

DeChambeau produced the best finish among LIV players at Aronimink in 2018, tying for 19th at 12-under par. This week's field includes Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Tyrrell Hatton, Cameron Smith, and Joaquin Niemann among the 11 LIV representatives.

Both DeChambeau and Rahm struggled at the Masters. DeChambeau missed the cut, while Rahm finished T38. According to CBS Sports, with the future of LIV Golf still uncertain, major championships have become very important for LIV players.

Bryson DeChambeau comes into this week ranked 28th in the world. He qualified through his 2024 U.S. Open win. His last three results at the PGA Championship were T4, second, and T2. Those results show why he feels confident playing on this course.
