Former Good Good Golf member Brad Dalke made his DP World Tour debut this week at the BMW International Open. The appearance marked another milestone in a career that once seemed to be heading in the wrong direction after struggles on the course cost him both confidence and tour status.

Speaking in Germany, Dalke reflected on the turning point that helped him rediscover his love for the game.

“Yeah. I mean, doing all the YouTube things been unbelievable. It's been, you know, before I kind of got into YouTube. I was not having very much fun with golf. I was not loving golf very much, just going through a lot of struggles. Getting YouTube kind of helped me learn how to have fun with it again. And I'll always be appreciative of that,” said Dalke at Golfclub München Eichenried in a video shared by DP World Tour X's channel.

At the start of his professional career, Dalke struggled with driver yips, which heavily affected his performances. As a result, he lost all tour status and eventually ran out of money.

That’s when he started filming alongside Good Good Golf, a YouTube channel that has more than 2 million subscribers at the moment.

In August 2023, Dalke signed a full-time contract with the channel and never looked back. He won the PGA Tour's Creator Classic at East Lake last year. He was also part of the winning team at the inaugural Internet Invitational.

“You just have fun with it. Whatever happens, happens, it's golf. It's a really tough game and just have a good time and see how I can do,” he added in the X post.

With low expectations, Dalke has headed to the BMW International Open on a sponsor’s invite. He had an impressive amateur career. Let’s take a look at it.

A look at Dalke’s amateur career

Back in 2011, Dalke became the youngest male winner of an American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) invitational tournament at just 13. His collegiate career was incredible.

Dalke won the Junior PGA Championship in 2015 by breaking the tournament record. That win earned him an exemption to make his PGA Tour debut at the 2016 Valero Texas Open.

In 2016, he came agonizingly close to winning the U.S. Amateur but was defeated by Curtis Luck in the final. As a result of the runner-up finish, he secured a spot at the Masters and U.S. Open the following year.

Dalke’s first individual collegiate title came in 2017 at the NCAA Stanford Regional, as reported by Golfweek. The 2018 Lone Star Invitational title was his second. He also represented the U.S. at the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup.
