LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam retired 16 years ago, and since then, she has lived a peaceful life with her family in Orlando.

Sorenstam has called the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club her home and has been a part of the community for over 20 years. Even after retiring a long time ago, she has built a luxury sanctuary in Orlando to keep herself fit.

In the Close to Home series, the World Golf Hall of Fame stated that she liked being at home and spending time with her kids.

“I’ve been traveling since I was 16...I’m literally on the road all the time. I’ve really cherished this time spent at home.”

Just a year ago, Sorenstam and her husband, Mike McGee, renovated their Orlando home, and they have been loving these changes.

“We are constantly tinkering…whether it’s cleaning up things, learning the new features of our house.”

She has also replaced an old "red barn" hitting bay once used by coach David Leadbetter with a custom sand volleyball court. The legendary golfer also discussed how the kitchen was the heart of their home, where her entire family spent a great deal of time together.

Sorenstam’s luxurious house also features a gym featuring a Peloton bike, which she bought as a gift for her 50th birthday, and a Pilates resistance machine, which she uses regularly to stay fit. She remains a celebrated figure in LPGA history with continuous work with her foundation.
