Inside Bryson DeChambeau's Dallas Home That He Sold For $2.8M: LIV Golfer's Luxurious Lifestyle

USA Today via Reuters

When Bryson DeChambeau opened the doors of his Dallas home in a 2022 house-tour video, he called it the “fun house.” And he certainly wasn't kidding.

After making it big in 2018 and winning millions in prize money, DeChambeau put it to good use, buying a massive house with 5,339 square feet of interior space.

And instead of living in Florida like other golfers, DeChambeau chose Texas, the state where he went to college.

Here’s a full look at what made the home special, and a big change that affected it.

The House & Where It Stood

The mansion sits in Melshire Estates, a well-regarded neighborhood in North Dallas/Preston Hollow.

The Estates sits between Forest Lane and the Dallas North Tollway, putting Bryson within a short drive of most of his day-to-day stops, something he mentions in his house tour when he talks about how “everything I need is 10–15 minutes from here."

But that was just the start of all the comforts.

Inside: Comfort, Style & Golf-Ready Living

Walking through the house via photos, the design blends modern home comforts with touches that reflect a pro golfer’s life.

The ground floor featured an open layout, with a main living room with a vaulted ceiling, a cozy fireplace and large glass doors opened to the backyard patio and lawn. The kitchen was updated with sleek cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, stone countertops, and a large island, suitable for both everyday use and entertaining.

On it’s first floor: the owner’s suite and a guest bedroom; the en suite bath featured a glass shower and a “slipper tub” (soaking tub) near a windowed nook. The second floor had three additional bedroom suites, each with private bathrooms and walk-in closets.

Recreation, Relaxation & “Fun House” Features

The home included a media room with an HD golf simulator, a pool table, and flat-screen TVs, a space that allowed DeChambeau to practice indoors or unwind when not on tour.

Outdoors, the backyard was outfitted for leisure and entertainment: a pool with spa, a custom pergola, an outdoor kitchen and built-in grill, an outdoor fireplace, and a fire pit. These were among the additions DeChambeau made during his time there.

According to the listing agent, the house was “fully wired” for entertainment and had a layout that blended indoor-outdoor living, ideal for hosting friends, family, or fellow golfers.

In short, the mansion reflected not only comfort and luxury, but also the dual life of a professional golfer, training when needed, relaxing or entertaining otherwise.

Sale Of The Mansion

The mansion was put on the market in April 2024 with an asking price of about $3.2 million, and by August 2024, the home had sold for $2.8 million via his friend and fellow pro golfer, Austin Smotherman’s wife, Jessica Smotherman.
