Unlike most golfers who chose Florida as their home, Phil Mickelson stuck to his native California roots, with a massive home in Santa Fe.
Let’s rewind a bit about how he managed the complete land. He made a deal of $25m for a portion of land adjacent to one of his previous purchases. As per some reports, Mickelson also wanted to buy some land owned by Steven Black, chairman of Cisterra Partners, but could not agree to a deal.
At one point, Phil Mickelson was so desperate that he shelled out around $25 million for a four-bathroom, four-bedroom expanded in 4.3 acres of land.
Rebuilding the Main Residence
His current home has a main residence that spans around 9,100 square feet with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Mickelson not only took care of luxury but also fitness. Phil and Amy’s home has a spa-inspired bathroom with private outdoor access.
Luxury Features and Outdoor Lifestyle
And now that everything is sorted, and Mickelson, who ranked 4th on the PGA Tour money rankings great outdoor paradise with luxurious and beautiful indoors. The outdoor area is 4.55 acres, which includes a resort-style pool & spa.
In fact, their home also has a fully equipped outdoor entertainment space with an outdoor kitchen and dining. And can you imagine a golfer without a golf course?
Yes, Phil Mickelson also owns a personal golf course. Traditional features such as a trophy room, gym space, and horseshoe pit reflect the couple’s blend of leisure and athletic lifestyle.
While Mickelson and his wife eventually listed the home $7.1 million, it will remain synonymous with them!
