England’s Charley Hull is set to defend her title at the Kroger Queen City this week. In the pre-tournament press conference, she revealed the reason behind her choice of Albert Einstein in her dream foursome.

Hull was asked about her dream foursome in a recent podcast, following which she mentioned Albert Einstein. Fans were left curious with her choice and wanted to know the full context behind it.

“Been obsessed with science, history, and geography. For someone that left school when I was 11 years old, I do know a lot about a lot of different random stuff. I may not be the best like at spelling and everything, but I am actually quite knowledgeable in certain aspects in life. It's kind of interesting. I just love stuff like that, though I find it fascinating.” said Hull.

It was on the Par 3 Podcast with J.R. Smith & Stephen Malbon that Hull was asked of her dream foursome.

The 30-year old was quick with her responses as she mentioned golf legends Seve Ballesteros and Ben Hogan. Following that, she went into deep thinking for her third choice.

Hull remarked “really, really random” and revealed of her “obsession with science.” Out of nowhere, she came up with the surprise pick of Einstein.

“Just ordered the book, actually about the Stoics, like stoicism and stuff. I find stuff that amazing, like you know how if it's not in your control, you not really got to worry about it and all that kind of stuff. I feel like a lot of people should be more like that because they'll be a lot happier in life.” Hull added.

Hull has certainly made a name for herself on the LPGA tour since joining in 2015. Let's find out about her record on the tour.

Hull’s record on the LPGA Tour

Currently ranked 6th on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, Hull has a total of nine professional wins in her career.

Three of those nine wins came on the LPGA tour, the most recent being the Kroger Queen City Championship in 2025.

The 30-year-old secured the Volunteers of America Classic by one stroke over China’s Lin Xiyu, back in 2022.

In 2016, Hull won for the first time on the tour at the CME Group Tour Championship, finishing with a tournament record 19-under-par to win by two strokes.

Hull will look forward to defending her title this week and adding to her trophy collection at Kroger Queen City.
