John Daly is all set to extend his resume in the world of entertainment with another project after Happy Gilmore, and this time it's a music video.

On January 31, TMZ Sports spotted Daly meeting up with the renowned musician Andrew Moore to star in the music video of his upcoming song, Tyrant.

TMZ Sports also obtained a sneak peek of Moore's crew shooting a scene from the music video featuring Daly. The shoot was held at a clubhouse bar. They detailed Daly's initial comments after meeting the musician. "What's up, brother? How's it goin', man?" said the PGA Tour veteran.

The report also mentioned that the 2x major champion visited Nashville for the shoot. However, nothing can be said about when Daly and Moore's video will be released.

Considering that Netflix just released the teaser for Happy Gilmore 2 last month, it looks like Daly might sign up for more entertainment projects.

But Daly's connection with entertainment goes beyond just playing characters before the camera. The 59-year-old is also known for his skills in another form of entertainment.

John Daly’s Journey as a Musician

The success of Happy Gilmore 2 speaks volumes about how fans loved watching Daly on the silver screen. It became the most-streamed live-action movie of 2025.

However, comparatively fewer people know that the 59-year-old also has two musical albums to his name. Daly released his first album, My Life, in 2002. Most of its songs highlighted his half-baked songwriting, with raw lyrics.

Daly's songwriting and arranging skills improved significantly by the time he released his second album, I Only Know One Way, in 2010. It featured tracks like "Hit It Hard" that were well received by fans.

Daly is also known for performing Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" on various occasions, and a version of it appears in "I Only Know One Way." Daly also tours small venues between tournament appearances.

So would you like to listen to Daly sing more? Or are you happy with just watching him act on the screen?
