Joaquín Niemann and Jon Rahm were both early participants in the Saudi-backed circuit, and they remain one of the biggest successes.

With the LIV Golf 2026 season approaching, here is a look back at their performance and statistics.

Jon Rahm’s LIV position and key performance stats

Jon Rahm is currently leading the LIV Golf League's individual standings after taking the 2025 LIV Golf Individual Championship for the second consecutive year, securing the season title without an individual event win.

He secured the season title through steady point accumulation across multiple high finishes and overtook points leader Joaquin Niemann after shooting 11-under 60 at LIV Golf Indianapolis to force a playoff despite Niemann winning five individual events during the year.

Rahm also captained Legion XIII, which won four team titles and the 2025 LIV Golf Team Championship against the Crushers GC in Michigan.

Joaquin Niemann’s LIV position and key performance stats

Joaquin Niemann is close behind Rahm and is currently in second place in the LIV Golf individual standings. Niemann set a LIV Golf record with five wins in a single season and became the first player to win events on four different continents in one calendar year

Joaquin Niemann captained Torque GC, which claimed its first team title of the season at the final regular-season event in Indianapolis in August 2025.

Niemann does not appear in the top three for scrambling or fairway accuracy.

The numbers have a clear result

Jon Rahm led LIV Golf in Greens in Regulation at 74.86% and ranked first in total birdies with 199, while also finishing third in scrambling at 65.19%.

Niemann ranks second in total birdies with 196 and second in Greens in Regulation at 73.61%, while also leading LIV Golf in driving distance at 330.4 yards.

Although Joaquin Niemann recorded more individual wins during the 2025 season, Jon Rahm finished higher on average across multiple events and accumulated more season-long points, which placed him first in the LIV Golf individual standings.
