Kai Trump Opens Up on Social Media Pressure and the One Thing That Keeps Her Grounded

Social media is not new territory for Kai Trump. As the eldest granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, she has grown up in public view, with attention that rarely fades. Over time, the 18-year-old has learned how to deal with it and where to place her focus.
During a video shared on her YouTube channel on Saturday, Kai Trump spoke about how she looks at social media and what helps her stay steady through it.
"Let's just say social media can be really tough. Um, there can be a lot of false stuff out there. I kind of manage it the same way, where I know who I am at the end of the day,” she explained.
“My close family circle knows who I am. I mean, social media does come with a lot of pressure, but I think if you stay true to yourself. It doesn't really affect you as much," Trump said about what keeps her grounded.

Kai Trump has indeed built a massive following even before turning pro. Her YouTube channel has over 1.47 million subscribers, her Instagram account (@kaitrumpgolfer) has more than 2.5 million followers, and her TikTok has over 3.4 million followers.
While her social media presence is definitely a commitment, Trump is also preparing for her return.
Kai Trump on her summer plans
During the podcast, Kai Trump also spoke about what she has been focusing on lately and a goal she wants to work toward:
"I love running. I actually want to do like a half marathon in over the summer."
Alongside these plans, Trump is also working her way back after surgery, taking it step by step as she prepares to return to the course.
She is recovering from left wrist surgery that took place on January 7, with the aim of getting back to competitive play in time for her freshman season at the University of Miami. As of late March, she has started easing into training again, following a gradual return.
She has resumed putting on weight after around 10 weeks of recovery. Over the next few weeks, she is expected to begin chipping, with a return to full shots planned for May. At the same time, she is continuing with gym sessions, including strength work, to stay on track while her wrist heals.
