Keith Mitchell PGA Tour earnings 2026: How rich he has become after the U.S. Open top-5 finish

American golfer Keith Mitchell added nearly $921,000 to his season earnings with a career-best T4 finish at the U.S. Open, pushing his 2026 PGA Tour winnings to around $2.48 million.
The 34-year-old also etched his name into the record books at Shinnecock Hills, becoming the first player in U.S. Open history to record four rounds of even par in a single tournament.
Since turning pro in 2014, Mitchell has racked up just one PGA Tour victory. However, the Tennessee native has been enjoying one of the most consistent stretches of his career this season.

The Tennessee-born golfer finished at even par for the tournament and secured a T4 finish. He took away approximately $921,000 with his best major performance, according to the official PGA Tour website.
The 34-year-old also delivered an amazing performance at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson last month. Mitchell finished with a commendable 22-under-par score and placed fifth. He secured about $422,000 from the tournament.
Mitchell received his third-highest payout of the season in February. A T6 finish at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches earned him nearly $324,000 from the event.
Other significant payouts Mitchell achieved this season came at the Farmers Insurance Open and the Texas Children's Houston Open.
Mitchell finished T11 and T14, respectively, and secured a combined total of around $364,000 from the tournaments.
As of now, Mitchell’s career earnings stand at close to $19.72 million.
Mitchell might not have crossed the line at Shinnecock Hills, but he did achieve an incredible feat there.
Mitchell’s unique feat at the U.S. Open
Mitchell delivered a U.S. Open performance backed by immense consistency.
Mitchell shot his fourth straight 70 on Sunday, becoming the first player in U.S. Open history to record four rounds of even par. He tied for fourth to secure an invitation to next year's first major.
"I might have not won, but I felt like I achieved a lot more than potentially I thought I was going to after about two hours into the round," Mitchell said at the U.S. Open press conference. "You can always look at winning a tournament, but I think I won the week after the start."
Mitchell was in trouble after recording a 6-over 41 on his opening nine holes of the major. However, he battled through the tough conditions at Shinnecock and delivered the historic performance.
"My best finish in a major by far, might be the best finish of the year, actually, and it's at this kind of place," Mitchell said. "I've never necessarily believed that I was -- I don't know if it's good enough, but was able to accomplish something this big, and for me right now, a T-4 is a win in my book."
The 34-year-old now looks forward to competing at the Masters and the U.S. Open next year.
