The Korda sisters are back on the course together. Their reunion at the Aramco Championship in Las Vegas included a hilarious moment on the 18th green that left both Nelly and Jessica laughing.
"It was fun. She actually looked at me at 18 when she flipped the club around, and I was just shaking my head internally. I'm like, what are you doing? We made eye contact, and we both started laughing, but it was a lot of fun, honestly," Speaking to Golf Channel on Thursday, Nelly Korda recalled the moment.
After the first round, Nelly is one shot off the lead after an eagle on the 18th hole, while Jessica is working through “rust” in her second start since returning from maternity leave.
"It was great. I mean, I'm super rusty, obviously, but I had such a fun time. Her [Nelly] and Charlie are just such great players. I've been on the commentating side, I've been on the spectating side, and being inside is so much fun," said Jessica Korda, adding her take in the same interaction.
As she continues her return, Jessica Korda is playing just her second full LPGA Tour event since becoming a mom. She opened with a 3-over 75, with a birdie on the 17th hole as one of the key moments.
Just a week before the Aramco Championship, Nelly Korda and Jessica Korda were back together at the Ford Championship in Phoenix, Arizona. It marked their first official LPGA Tour event as a pair in nearly three years.
Nelly finished as the runner-up, while Jessica, in her first start after maternity leave, missed the cut as she worked her way back into competition.
Jessica Korda returns after nearly three years away
Jessica Korda has been gradually making her return to the LPGA Tour. She made her first full-field start in nearly three years at the 2026 Ford Championship in late March.
Her comeback began earlier, in December last year, at the Grant Thornton Invitational, where she partnered with Bud Cauley in a mixed-team event. She is playing a limited schedule this season while balancing her return to competition with motherhood.
She had stepped away in May 2023 due to a back issue. During that period, she gave birth to her son, Greyson, in February 2024 and returned under the tour’s maternity policy.
Looking ahead, she is set to compete in majors including the Chevron Championship in April, followed by the U.S. Women’s Open and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June.
