Lexi Thompson turned professional at 15, won her first LPGA event at 16, and won a major championship at 19. Now 31 years old and playing a part-time schedule, she has built much more than just a golf career. As of 2026, her net worth is estimated to be between $2 to 4 million, and tournament winnings are only one part of how she earns money.

The 31-year-old has earned more than $15.4 million in LPGA prize money during her career, which puts her in the 10th spot on the all-time highest earning LPGA golfers. Her best earning years were 2017 and 2022, when she made about $1.9 million in prize money on average each year.

In 2025, the American professional golfer earned around $145,600. The lower amount came after she announced in May 2024 that she would step away from playing full-time golf.

Sponsorship deals add a lot more to Thompson’s earnings. According to Forbes, she makes about $4 million every year from brand partnerships alone. Some of the brands she works with include Cobra-PUMA Golf, Bridgestone Golf, Rolex, Rocket Mortgage, and iCapital.

She also started her skincare brand, Lexi Skin, in 2021. The products are dermatologist-tested and include microencapsulated copper peptides. Every year, part of the money from the brand is donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Lexi Thompson has won 11 LPGA titles and 15 professional tournaments overall. She also has 93 career top-10 finishes. Her biggest win came at the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship, where she beat Michelle Wie by three shots at just 19 years old.

She also holds a record that many fans do not notice. Thompson has played in 19 straight U.S. Women’s Opens. Her first appearance came in 2007, when she qualified at age 12 and became the youngest player ever to qualify for the tournament.
