LIV Golf became popular for providing fans with more access than other golf leagues. However, some of those features are now gone.
Before LIV Golf Korea at Asiad Country Club, the league removed its “Any Shot, Any Time” feature, along with its group and team streams. The feature lets fans follow specific players and groups during tournaments for $59.99 per year.
A LIV Golf spokesperson confirmed on Thursday that the league made a “strategic decision” to remove all three features for the rest of the 2026 season, according to Sports Business Journal.
LIV Golf confirmed that it is working on a refund plan for fans who paid the $59.99 for the subscription.

The timing has raised bigger questions about LIV Golf’s future. Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund said it would stop funding the league after the 2026 season. The fund has invested more than $5 billion in LIV Golf since 2022.
LIV CEO Scott O’Neil has also said that the league is trying to spend more carefully and build a stronger future while looking for new investors.
"This notion of, 'Do you have to raise money?' Probably. This is business," he told TNT Sports. "But if we keep the trajectory going the way we are and the revenue growth going, this is going to be a really good business for a really long time."
There are six events left in the 2026 LIV Golf season, and that includes this week’s tournament in Korea.
LIV, notably, introduced the “Any Shot, Any Time” feature more than two years ago with support from PMY Group and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI technology. At that time, it was considered one of the league’s biggest broadcast successes.
Furthermore, according to Sports Business Journal, one source said there were payment problems with some broadcast partners as Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund reduced spending.
Bryson DeChambeau Still "Very Optimistic" Despite LIV Golf Funding Uncertainty
Bryson DeChambeau, last year’s LIV Korea winner, rejected the negative talk about the future of LIV before this week’s event.
"We were surprised that they pulled out as quickly as they did," DeChambeau said of PIF's decision, as per Bunkered. "We didn't really see that coming. But that's okay. One door closes, another opens."
While his contract expires at the end of the season, the World No. 32 said the league still has a plan.
"I think we all have optimism that there is a business plan that makes sense for team golf," DeChambeau said. "I'm very optimistic with the business plan of team golf compared to other models, in my opinion."
Five events remain after Korea. The refund process is underway, and the league is still running for now.
Do you think LIV Golf can survive without Saudi funding, or is this the beginning of the end?
