LIV Golf fans got the first good news when Bryson DeChambeau decided to remain as captain of Crushers GC, and now there's some more good news for European fans looking for more options to watch LIV events.
With two new broadcast agreements now finalized, the Saudi-backed league is increasing its presence across Europe, particularly in the UK, Ireland, and the German-speaking countries.
Sky Sports Brings LIV Golf to New European Homes
Starting in 2026, Sky Sports will broadcast LIV Golf live across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Selected Asian Tour events will be streamed, which means viewers will get a steady stream throughout the season.
Senior Vice President Sports Rights & Commercialization at Sky Deutschland, Hans Gabbe, said, “With the long-term exclusive rights to all four men's majors, the rights to all important women's events and, from now on, the LIV Golf League and Asian Tour, Sky Sport Golf will continue to be the number one destination for all golf fans in Germany.”

Sky Sports is committing close to 600 hours of live golf coverage in 2026. In fact, SVP, International Media Rights at LIV, Örjan Olsson, said, “Partnering with Sky Germany reflects our continued focus on expanding LIV Golf’s reach, in alignment with Sky Sport’s broader commitment to delivering premium golf coverage.”
He added that their goal is to provide "fans across the region access to world-class players and many of the most exciting young talents in the game.”
Sky Sports has major golf championships, and with the addition of the Saudi-backed league and the Asian Tour.
TNT Sports Becomes LIV Golf’s UK and Ireland Home
LIV Golf fans can watch the events on TNT Sports with a long-term agreement, which will help UK and Ireland fans watch without missing. The season will start from Riyadh, and all 14 League events will be live; in fact, discovery+ will also broadcast the live events.
Beyond broadcasting, LIV Golf also announced changes to its tournament format. It will move to a four-day, 72-hole format, and a total of 57 players will be seen on the course. The field includes Bryson DeChambeau, Joaquín Niemann, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Phil Mickelson, Tyrrell Hatton, Jon Rahm, David Puig, and Tom McKibbin, among others.
Scott Young, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe, said, “Showcasing some of the world’s best male golfers playing on LIV Golf is a positive addition to TNT Sports’ portfolio of premium live sport, further placing our channels and platforms as a leading destination for all the sports you love.”
All the players are divided into 13 teams, and five Wild Card spots will also be there. So, the 2026 season is something fans, especially the European ones, can be excited about.
