With Brooks Koepka’s departure from LIV Golf on December 23 and a statement from Bryson DeChambeau regarding his LIV contract, attention has shifted to another roster-related development

Recently, Kevin Na, captain of Iron Heads GC, stopped posting on social media and unfollowed both LIV Golf and Iron Heads GC, which has led to speculation that he may be preparing to leave.

A Jan. 3 post from Nuclear Golf on X states that there is ‘drama going on’ within the Iron Heads GC franchise, with Kevin Na reportedly unfollowing both LIV Golf and his team on social media amid rumors of roster changes.

While this is only speculation, Kevin Na has not given any confirmation. Na’s initial contract with LIV Golf is also expected to run through the end of the 2026 season, which only leaves more questions.

On June 4, 2022, Na became the first player to formally resign from the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf. Since joining LIV Golf, Na has served as captain of Iron Heads GC.

This comes right on the heels of the Iron Heads GC losing Yubin Jang. The Korean player was relegated from LIV Golf, and the team was actively looking for replacements.

In early December 2025, rumors emerged that Si Woo Kim would join the team, but the golfer shut down those rumors, saying he remains committed to playing in The Sony Open. Another Korean star, Sungjae Im, also closed the door on rumors of him joining the team, calling the speculation "fake news."

However, Kevin Na's move may signal that something else may be going on with the Iron Heads GC. What's also fueling the rumors about Na's exit is his performance last season.

Kevin Na’s 2025 LIV Golf season

Kevin Na finished the 2025 LIV Golf season in 44th place in the individual standings with 10.06 points, which was his lowest finish across his four seasons in the league.

Na also did not record a top-10 finish during the season, and Iron Heads GC finished 13th in the regular-season team standings.

Yet, there were some positive developments. A major point in Na’s tenure was securing a LIV Golf event in South Korea in 2025, which he described as ‘three years in the making’ and a ‘home game’ for his team.

‘Three years in the making,’ Na said that arranging a LIV Golf event in his birth country had been underway since he joined the league in 2022.

With three South Korean players on the roster, i.e, Kevin Na, Danny Lee, and Yubin Jang, Na referred to the tournament as a ‘home game’ for Iron Heads GC and a chance to connect with Korean golf supporters.

The 2025 event marked LIV Golf’s first tournament in South Korea, the 10th country to host a LIV event. That being said, it's all speculaion untill Kevin Na, or the team, makes an official announcement.
