LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau has missed cuts at two majors in the same season for the first time in his career, but the two-time major champion remains optimistic about his game.
Prior to this season, DeChambeau was going through a purple patch at major championships. He carded five top-six finishes across a six-major stretch over the last two seasons.
"To be honest, missed cuts are gonna happen," DeChambeau told FlushingIt, when asked about his major form.

"I might miss all four of them in majors this year. That's just golf. Like, I’m playing great. I just haven't shown up when it mattered most," he added.
It was a disappointment at Augusta for DeChambeau this year. A 4-over 76 and 2-over 74 ensured that he would not be heading into the weekend.
The 32-year-old suffered late collapses at both majors, including a triple-bogey 7 on his final hole at Augusta, and missed the cut at the Masters and PGA Championship in the same season for the first time in his career.
The Crushers GC captain will now head to Shinnecock Hills for the U.S. Open, a tournament he has won twice in the last six years, including a six-shot victory over Matthew Wolff at Winged Foot in 2020, and he remains confident in both his swing and LIV form despite a difficult start to the major season.
DeChambeau Satisfied With His LIV Performances
DeChambeau currently ranks second on the Individual Rankings List behind Jon Rahm. Despite being out of form at majors, the Crushers GC captain has been consistent in the league.
"I've played well out here on LIV, and I’m working on my golf swing really hard, and I feel like it's in a really solid place," DeChambeau said.
The 32-year-old registered back-to-back wins in March. He secured LIV Singapore and LIV South Africa, taking his LIV win tally to five.
"So, I feel like I'm actually playing the most consistent I've ever played on LIV, which is great. And I think it's attributed to the switch to four rounds. No question," he added.
LIV shifted to 72 holes from 54 holes ahead of this season, and the change has brought the best out of DeChambeau.
