Nelly Korda may be a two-time major champion and Olympic gold medalist, but she believes her character could've helped her thrive in a different field other than golf.

Korda wasn't really serious while presenting the opinion. However, she highlighted a not-so-positive side of her persona while discussing the job that would've suited her best, apart from golfing.

In a YouTube Short shared by T-Mobile in June 2024, the 27-year-old said, "[I would've become a] lawyer, because I like to argue with people."

Well, not much can be said about how Korda would've been as a lawyer. But the multiple accolades she earned during her golf career show that she probably did the right thing by choosing the sport.

2020 became a memorable year in Korda's career as she won the gold medal at the Olympics in Tokyo. And with that, she became the first golfer to win both a major and Olympic gold in the same year.

Korda continued her victory run in the years that followed, winning multiple coveted tournaments, including two majors, in 2021 and 2024. But the upcoming season is going to be easier for her, at least physically.

How is Nelly Korda's 2026 season going to be easier?

Korda has been competing in over 20 events in a single season for the last few years. The 27-year-old competed in 21 events in 2025, but she is looking to bring that count down in 2026.

During the 2025 Christmas holidays, Korda also revealed the reason behind the decision, saying, "I will not do four in a row. I've seen my body deteriorate over that and I kind of get into the zone of possibly getting injured."

To do that, she plans to follow a more selective LPGA schedule. According to Golfweek, she wants to compete in around 18 to 20 events in 2026.
