Nelly Korda Once Revealed Which Sibling She Was “Jealous” Of, and Why It Made Sense

Born into one of sport’s most accomplished families, Nelly Korda is a two-time major champion who seems to have it all. However, in a 2024 podcast, the golf superstar revealed one thing she truly envies.
Nelly Korda appeared on Inside the LPGA Podcast in November 2024. During the episode in a light exchange, she was asked which family member she was most jealous of, to which Korda replied,
“Without a question, my brother,” said Korda. Sebastian Korda, Nelly Korda’s younger brother, competes on the ATP Tour. He won the boys’ singles title at the Australian Open in 2018 and later reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 15.
Along with their father, Petr Korda, Sebastian became part of the first father-and-son pair to be ranked inside the ATP Top 20.

But this jealousy was not because of rivalry or comparison. Instead, it stemmed from how naturally things come to him.
“He’s definitely the most talented. His hand-eye coordination is unbelievable, and his swing, like, he never plays maybe five, ten times a year, has never had a lesson, and it’s just, his lines are amazing. So jealous. So annoying. Anything he picks up, I mean, he just gets so good at it immediately, and he’s just very, very talented," added Korda.
Nelly Korda even dismissed his own statement
In 2023, Nelly Korda followed her brother Sebastian Korda during his Australian Open run while competing at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando.
After advancing to the fourth round, Sebastian referred to himself as the weakest athlete in the family while speaking to the crowd.
However, Nelly rejected the claim back then, saying: "It’s complete BS. He’s the best. Honestly, he’s the best. His hand-eye coordination is unbelievable. His swing, I’m jealous of his swing, actually. It’s crazy."
And Korda isn't just supportive of her brother's career. They regularly make time to celebrate important occasions with the family. "Merry Christmas from your favorite trio," Nelly Korda posted on Christmas Day while sharing a snap of herself with Sebastian and sister Jessica Korda.
