With the 2025 season coming to a close, LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau looks back on his performances and grades his year.
In an exclusive conversation with Tom Hobbs of Flushing It Golf on December 23, 2025, DeChambeau spoke candidly about his form, "Ah, man. I'm pretty hard on myself. So, I personally think it was, you know, I didn't win a major, so in my perspective, it was definitely a B to B minus.”
DeChambeau’s assessment comes after a mixed campaign in the majors. He missed the cut at the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club after the first two rounds. Then at the 2025 PGA Tour Championship at Quail Hollow Club, he finished in a tie for second place, five strokes behind the winner.
Reflecting on his early-season form, he explained, “I felt like I was doing a lot of things (to start the year) and I couldn't get my game quite where I wanted it to be. I found it right around Augusta and played well through Korea, I just didn't execute and do the things I know I needed to do.”
At the 2025 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club, DeChambeau entered the final round, two shots behind the lead, and moved into the solo lead on the front nine.
Unfortunately, he recorded a three-putt bogey on the 3rd hole and a double bogey on the 11th hole after his approach shot entered the water hazard, completing the final round with a score of 75 and finishing T5.
“I was pulling putts quite a bit during the season, so that cost me a little bit on my putting," he added. However, looking back, DeChambeau said he still sees positives. "But for the most part, it's fine. I won. I feel like my presence was pretty solid. The last three rounds at the Open Championship were great," said DeChambeau.
Bryson DeChambeau 2025 Victories
Bryson DeChambeau won his first individual title of the 2025 LIV Golf season at the LIV Golf Korea tournament, finishing at 19-under-par and two strokes ahead of Crushers GC teammate Charles Howell III.
As the captain of Crushers GC, he also led his team to victories at LIV Golf Korea, LIV Golf Virginia, and LIV Golf Dallas during the 2025 season.
DeChambeau opened the Open Championship in July 2025 with a first-round score of 78 (7 over par), leaving him tied for 144th after round one. Over the next three rounds, he recorded scores of 65, 68, and 64. His 16-under-par total across the final 54 holes ranks as the second-lowest 54-hole total in Open Championship history, following only Henrik Stenson's 196 (18-under) in 2016.
Now, with the season behind him, Bryson DeChambeau feels he can do a lot of things better. "I’ve got to start prepping a little bit better for this next year," said the golfer.
