Paige Spiranac humbles NBA star J.R. Smith before begging fans to fix her broken swing

Former professional golfer and social media personality Paige Spiranac completely outplayed former NBA champion J.R. Smith recently. However, she wasn’t impressed with her iron play and asked her fans for advice.
In a two-on-two match, Spiranac and YouTube golfer Big John Golfs defeated Smith and his teammate, golf influencer Claire Hogle. Right after, Spiranac took to X to fill the gaps in her game.
“My short game has always been pretty nasty (if I do say so myself) because I’m always missing greens lol any tips you have for hitting pure irons I’m all ears,” Spiranac wrote on X.

Spiranac boasts a huge online following. As a result, her fans quickly flooded in with their valuable input.
“You'll hit more greens if you worry less about pin placement. Middle of the green is always a good safe spot to aim for,” wrote an X user on Spiranac's X post.
While most encouraged her to get better with swing movement and put in a lot more practice, one particular comment pointed out playing with two specific clubs.
“When I played a lot, I practiced just two clubs constantly and became very accurate. 9 and 7 irons. Some may prefer a wedge,” wrote an X user. “Hit 1000's of shots. Become extremely accurate and consistent, at variable yardage, "feel" a shot, where it's going to land, how it should roll.”
Despite struggling with her iron play, Spiranac’s short game was on-point against Smith and Hogle.

How Paige Spiranac and Big John Dominated the Two-on-Two
Paige Spiranac and Big John’s chemistry was the highlight of the two-on-two match against J.R. Smith and Claire Hogle. The pair took the lead early in the 18-hole matchup and never threw it away.
As for Spiranac, she got off to a rocky start. She was eight over par after the opening three holes. However, the 33-year-old found her groove and landed five birdies, as per MARCA.
Spiranac stole the show with her incredible eagle putt at the 8th hole. She concluded her round with a 6-over 78. Big John spearheaded the charge towards the win with his 6-under 67 score.
J.R. Smith still has a long way to go in his new sport. The two-time NBA champion produced a 3-over 76 score as he and Hogle fell short.
