Rory McIlroy lost out on the PGA's Player of the Year award, but this season wasn't bad. In fact, he certainly thinks so.
"2025 is going to go down as one of the best years of my career, if not the best, and the most memorable for a lot of different reasons," McIlroy said after winning the Amgen Irish Open.
But with all the wins and sometimes overwhelming, not-so-good shots, Rory McIlroy’s earnings are what fans get curious about. Let's see how much he earned this year and his biggest payouts.
PGA Tour Earnings
His PGA Tour earnings were driven by three wins and one runner-up finish. He kicked things off with a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, winning $3.6 million to start off the season. He followed it up with two top-20 finishes that dropped low six-figure amounts.

This started the most lucrative leg of his season. His win at the THE PLAYERS Championship earned him $4.5 million, followed by a T5 finish at the Texas Children's Houston Open, getting him $330,000, and finally a Masters win that came with a $4.2 million paycheck.
The remainder of the year wasn't as successful. Despite finishing within the top-10 several times, McIlroy couldn't break past the $500,000 for more than three times.
In total, Rory McIlroy earned $30,492,418 from the PGA Tour in 2025, including all his bonuses.
The DP World Tour Earnings
McIlroy continued to compete selectively on the DP World Tour, adding to his overall earnings total. He finished second, with 1,335.0 RDR points. Rory McIlroy earned a total of $12,72,676.
Rory McIlroy's 2025 season was a remarkable milestone year in his career, where he went on to win the Masters Tournament for the first time.
