Russell Henley Adds $1.78M Payday to Growing PGA Tour Fortune: Net Worth and Career Earnings

After an exciting finish, Russell Henley clinched the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge on Sunday at Colonial Country Club. It was his sixth win on the PGA Tour.
He earned $1.782 million from the tournament’s total prize fund of $9.9 million. The victory also earned him 500 FedExCup points and moved him up to No. 11 in the standings.
After adding his latest win, his official PGA Tour earnings increased to about $51.46 million.
According to PGA Tour records, Henley has now played 321 events and made 234 cuts. His official career earnings were $49.68 million before the Charles Schwab Challenge, as per StatMuse.

Spotrac, on the other hand, estimates that Henley's total career earnings from all events stand at around $58 million. He also earns money from sponsorship deals with NetJets and Titleist. Various reports estimate Henley’s net worth at around $15 million in 2026.
As for his latest performance, the World No. 5 finished at 12-under par and beat Eric Cole in a playoff. Cole had led the tournament after 54 holes. Henley secured the win with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
With three holes remaining in the final round, he saved par from the rough on the 15th hole. He subsequently forced a playoff by making birdies on the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes.
It was Henley’s first win of the 2026 season. It was also only the second time in his PGA Tour career that he won in back-to-back seasons. He also won the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational, which notably earned him $4 million.
Charles Schwab Challenge 2026: Full Prize Money Breakdown
The 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge had a total prize fund of $9.9 million. The money was shared among 75 players who made the cut at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
Henley’s playoff win earned him the biggest prize. Below is a breakdown of how the other players finished and the prize money was shared.
Eric Cole, who led after 54 holes, took home $1,079,100 as runner-up. Cole opened on Sunday with a birdie-birdie, but his approach at the par-4 9th found the water.
“It wasn't part of my plan, for sure,” Cole said, as per Golf.com. "Double bogeys aren't good."
Despite the disappointment, the American insisted that he played well and took pride in his performance.
Ben Griffin, Alex Smalley, and Mac Meissner walked away with $524,700 apiece for finishing tied for third place. Meanwhile, J.J. Spaun, Gary Woodland, Michael Brennan, and Nicolás Echavarría all finished tied for fourth place and won $322,988.
Ryan Gerard, Steven Fisk, and Mackenzie Hughes finished tied for 10th place, each earning $249,975.
