As the ticket details for the 2027 Ryder Cup were announced on Wednesday, golf fans were left furious with the pricing.

Justin Rose’s caddie, Mark Fulcher, also did not hold back.

A general admission daily ticket for Friday through Sunday is €499 per daily ticket ($675 in American currency) at Adare Manor. Moreover, tickets for “The Green” are listed at €899 per daily ticket.

“It’s so disappointing to see such extortionately high prices for the 2027 Ryder Cup,” said Fulcher.

“Been lucky enough to caddy in a few and it’s amazing how incredible our support is … Seems to be a trend in sport to bleed true fans dry … sad day.” he added.

The prices have experienced a huge surge since the last European Ryder Cup in 2023.

At the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome, general admission tickets were between  €50 ($52.97) and €60 ($63.56) for the practice days, €250 ($264.83) for Friday and Saturday tickets, and €260 ($275.42) for Sunday.

On the other hand, Richard Atkinson, the European Tour Group’s chief Ryder Cup officer, justified the spike in price.

“We acknowledge it’s an increase from Rome. That was four years ago and a lot has happened in the world since then. We are lower than Bethpage. We’ve tried to make this as accessible as possible to a wide demographic of people. Our practice day tickets will be from 89 euros and juniors from 20 euros,” said Atkinson.

The sharp rise also originates as a result of the ‘extensive enhancements’ that the fans will be presented with at Adare Manor.

Atkinson promised the introduction of 20,000 grandstand seats and an increase in the number of giant screens.

Despite the disapproval of the ticket prices, Fulcher will be out there in Ireland caddying for Justin Rose.

Mark Fulcher Has Been A Caddie To Justin Rose Multiple Times for The Ryder Cup

The veteran caddie has been at the Ryder Cup five times and hopes to feature at his sixth at Adare Manor.

The duo has been together since 2008 and has been a part of some incredible victories. Rose’s impressive victories at the 2013 U.S. Open, Olympic gold at Rio 2016, and the FedEx Cup title in 2018 - all came with Fulcher caddying for him.

Following a temporary break due to a heart surgery in 2019, Fulcher reunited with Rose for two consecutive Ryder Cup victories for Europe in 2023 and 2025.

In February, the duo lifted their second Farmers Insurance Open and were on the verge of winning the Green Jacket two weeks ago.

However, Rose couldn’t hold on to the lead he had, heading into the back nine. Eventually, he finished third, two shots behind McIlroy.
