U.S. President Donald Trump and his granddaughter Kai Trump share a common interest in golf. Eight months ago, Mr. Trump spoke about Kai Trump’s game.
After attending a UFC match with the U.S. president, Kai Trump posted a video on her YouTube channel in which Donald Trump speaks about her golf skills.
“I play a lot of golf with Kai, and she’s a fantastic golfer. She’s a scratch player, which is amazing.”

Kai Trump debuted on the LPGA Tour on November 13, 2025, at The ANNIKA in Belleair, Florida, on a sponsor exemption. The 18-year-old amateur finished last in the 108-player field with scores of 83 and 75, missing the cut.
“I think someday she’s going to be much better than scratch,” raved Mr. President.
Kai Trump has stated publicly that she holds a +0.5 handicap, which is better than a scratch handicap.
Kai Trump signed her NIL agreement with Leaf Trading Cards in January 2025 and later entered into an endorsement agreement with TaylorMade Golf in February 2025.
On3 Sports lists her with an estimated NIL valuation of $1.2 million.
Kai Trump’s 2026 season Plan
Kai, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., she has committed to join the University of Miami women’s golf team as part of the 2026 signing class after graduating from high school in June 2026.
She has also reportedly agreed to take part in the 2026 Internet Invitational, an influencer-focused golf event with a prize pool.
Following a guest appearance on the Golf Channel in 2026, additional media opportunities may be under consideration as she continues to develop her social media presence.
