Three teams walked into Tuesday's press conference at the Dow Championship with names ready. The LPGA Tour's only official team event will be played from June 11 to 14. A total of 72 two-player teams will compete for a share of the $3.3 million prize money, and players seem ready with their team names!

World No. 1 Nelly Korda and Germany's Olivia Cowan, Epson Tour partners Lakareber Abe and Sarah White, and LET and LPGA players Gurleen Kaur and Hira Naveed all revealed their team names on Tuesday, ahead of the 2026 Dow Championship. Korda and Cowan's names drew immediate attention.

"Should we say it together? It is Legally Blond," Korda announced at the press conference.

Cowan added one word, breaking into laughter: "Hence the all pink."

While Korda and Cowan collaborated on their name per the media session, Abe came up with her team name on her own. White said she consulted ChatGPT first, and nothing came close. Their name: Lak and White.

Kaur and Naveed, representing India and Pakistan, named themselves Team Frenemies.

"Obviously, with the history between the two countries, but for us since we're friends, we're trying to bring both countries together," Naveed said.

Korda and Cowan named their team "Legally Blonde" after the famous movie. The fun team name also showed their close friendship. They later played together for the first time in Portland.

Abe and White first met in 2020 when a sponsor invited them to a Symetra Tour event in Scottsdale.

Kaur and Naveed said their partnership is meaningful because both of their parents moved to the United States from India and Pakistan in the 1990s.

The teams have their names set. But Team Legally Blonde already knows one thing for sure, and it has nothing to do with golf.

Nelly Korda Confirms All-Pink Outfit and One Non-Negotiable Team Rule

The first rule for Team Legally Blonde is simple: don't say sorry. Korda mentioned it first, and Cowan said she was thinking the same thing. 

"I always say, never say sorry," Korda said.

"Perfect. We're on the same page," Cowan replied.

The all-pink outfit is locked in for at least one day this week.

"Olivia is the only person that will get me to wear all pink," Korda added. "So I will be wearing all pink one day."

Their walk-up song for the par-3 18th hole on Saturday is still being finalized.

Korda comes into the Dow Championship with four wins and three second-place finishes in her eight events this season. This includes her victory at last week's U.S. Women's Open at Riviera Country Club.
