Golfing legend Tiger Woods has stunned the golfing community by collaborating with MLB legend Mike Trout on a $100 million golf project. On Wednesday, he unveiled the brand-new golf course, leaving fans starstruck.

Trout grew up in Vineland, New Jersey, and that’s where Woods crafted the course to pay tribute to him.

“From vision to reality,” Woods wrote in his Instagram post. “It has been incredibly rewarding to work alongside Mike Trout, John, and the Trout National team, together with my TGR Design team, to bring our shared vision for this special place to life."

TGR Design, Woods' golf course design company, is the main body behind the Trout National – The Reserve. The venue opened in April.

The Woods-led design firm now has 13 courses under its belt, including completed and ongoing projects.

The Los Angeles Angels star also cherished the partnership.

“What a ride. Couldn’t have asked for a better partner to bring this to life,” Trout responded to Woods’ post.

The 280-acre layout, carved from reclaimed quarries, drew immediate praise from the fans. The 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course will turn out quite challenging.

However, despite the endless praise, the regular fans have no chance to play at the southern New Jersey course. Trout National is only open to its exclusive list of 227 members.

As a result, the fans were also quick to vent their frustration on Woods’ Instagram post.

Mixed reviews from fans towards the Trout National

The fans were at a loss for words regarding the course's scenic beauty and gave mixed reviews on the same Woods' Instagram post.

“The course almost feels fake, how perfect everything is there. There wasn’t a leaf at a place,” wrote another fan on Woods’ Instagram post.

The comment reflected widespread admiration for the course's pristine condition.

“My wife played there last week with a member… She said it was off the charts stunning and a special place for sure!! Well done @miketrout and company!” commented a fan.

Moreover, the course has been meticulously crafted to cater to the players’ needs.

“The restaurant at the turn was amazing. Highly recommend, and the dugout for a refresh is perfect too. Well done, gentlemen,” wrote another fan.

Then came the criticism for the club's exclusivity.

“What’s the point of posting this if 99.9% of us can’t even play it?” wrote a fan on the post.

As per the official TDR Design website, club members will cherish their time at the secluded course with on-site accommodations and world-class golf.

However, the regular golfers will not be able to enjoy any of that.

“How many of the 30k people that liked this post will ever get to play a round here?” wrote another fan.

While the rest of the comment section was flooded with requests to make the club open to all.
