Tiger Woods Has Fans Shocked Over Jacked New Physique at 50

Apr 10, 2026, 8:53 PM CUT

Tiger Woods continues to defy the odds of his age. Even at 50, the golf phenom refuses to take a backseat when it comes to living fit. And that's not even the most impressive part.

Woods has undergone 7 back surgeries, with the most recent one being a L4-L5 lumbar disc replacement surgery. Despite the physical strain of that treatment last October, 'Big Cat' still hasn't hit the brakes.

On March 24, Fore Play shared an X update featuring a stylish image of Woods, which had the golf community swooning over his chiseled arms. The caption rightly said, "Tiger did NOT skip arm day while he was rehabbing the back." Looks like even during his rehab, Woods continued to hit the gym, especially for upper-body strength training.

However, it has more than just aesthetic reasons. Contrary to popular belief, strength training is often the main treatment for spine issues like those Woods has experienced. Training the muscles around the joints helps improve the support system and speed up recovery.

Moreover, with his spine still under excruciating pain now and then, training the upper body is not only the safer option, but it's also the logical next step.

And while his return to golf still hangs in the balance, his gym payoff continues to stun his fans even during his back rehab.

Woods' muscular arms did not go unnoticed by the golfing world either. "We have pumped up Big Cat back. He’s always skipped leg day though," a fan wrote with a touch of humor. Another one agreed, "He looks like he’s never skipped arm day in his life."

One more posted a sarcastic remark on the golfer's grit, commenting with a GIF alongside, "Just standard 50-year-old things."

"Apparently didn’t skip pec day or trap day or ab day either. If his leg wasn’t shredded from the car accident the guy would still be an upper echelon PGA tour player imo," a fan wrote, mentioning his 2021 car accident that nearly proved fatal for Woods.

However, PED accusations slipped their way into the comments, too, but while that remains to be proved, one thing is certain: Tiger Woods’ relentless determination, even through surgeries and setbacks, is undeniable. And that kind of grit doesn't come easy.

So, what lesson are you taking from this avatar of Woods?
