Tiger Woods has shared the course with presidents, celebrities, and some of the greatest golfers in history. Yet when asked about his dream golf foursome, his mind went somewhere far more personal.

The 15-time major champion's answer centered on family and a round of golf he wishes could have happened.

"It wouldn't be a foursome," Woods said. "It'd be my dad, myself, and [son] Charlie."

Woods' answer, as shown in Golf Digest's X post, came from a place of immense love for his family. The thought of the three generations playing together clearly persists in his mind.

The answer might also come from a place of sadness. Charlie was born about three years after Earl passed, and the loss must have been hard to handle for the 15-time major champion.

Tiger’s father, Earl, played a huge role in shaping him into the golfing legend he eventually became, especially in the mental aspect of the game.

Charlie, on the other hand, is following in the gigantic footsteps of his father. The father-son duo has a dedicated fanbase on social media, and Charlie has a bright future ahead of him.

Tiger has played with presidents, celebrities, and other greats of the game. He could easily tee off with anyone on the planet, but his answer reflects something deeper.

Family comes before anything else for the golfer from Cypress, and Charlie Woods has the best coach in his father.

Charlie Woods’ golf journey so far

The high expectations Charlie Woods grew up with could be overwhelming for any golfer. It’s fair to say he has handled them remarkably well.

At just 11, Charlie competed alongside his father at the 2020 PNC Championship and became the youngest competitor in the tournament's history.

Last year, Charlie secured his first AJGA victory at the Team TaylorMade Invitational, winning by three strokes ahead of a three-way tie between Luke Colton, Willie Gordon, and Phillip Dunham, as reported by AP News.

Recently, the 17-year-old climbed to No. 1 in the Golf NIL rankings with a valuation of $3 million, the highest ever recorded since the system was introduced in 2024.

The youngster already boasts a huge following on social media and significant visibility and reach.
