Tommy Fleetwood announces landmark partnership ahead of The Open

Ahead of the Open Championship, England’s Tommy Fleetwood has partnered up with Rossall School to launch another Tommy Fleetwood Academy.
The partnership will establish the first Tommy Fleetwood Academy at a UK independent school while introducing a new scholarship for aspiring young golfers.
"The Tommy Fleetwood Academy was created to inspire and support young golfers on their journey, and partnering with Rossall allows us to provide an exceptional pathway for talented players within an outstanding educational environment,” Fleetwood said.

Starting from September, the Rossall School will officially become the fourth Tommy Fleetwood Academy location. The other academies have already earned a reputation for delivering their golfing targets, as reported by Rossall School.
However, for the first time, the academy has been adopted into an educational institution. This provides a holistic approach that combines golf with education. The World No. 9 announced another exciting opportunity.
"The introduction of the Tommy Fleetwood Scholarship is particularly exciting because it will open doors for a young golfer who has the talent and determination to succeed. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the partnership and the students who will benefit from it,” Fleetwood added.
The Tommy Fleetwood Scholarship will be launched at Rossall. A young golfer showcasing immense talent and potential will secure a fully-funded spot at the Lancashire-based school.
The headmaster of the Rossall School also had a few words to say about the partnership.

Headmaster Andrew McBride revealed that the groundbreaking agreement uplifted the school’s status in the same announcement by Rossall School.
"This is a landmark moment for Rossall School and one that fills us with enormous pride and excitement," said McBride, as per Rossall School. "To become the exclusive home of the Tommy Fleetwood Academy within the UK independent school sector is truly groundbreaking.”
Rossall’s Golf Academy is considered one of the top school golf programmes in the UK by the Independent Schools Golf Association. This new endeavour will further enhance the young golfers.
"This partnership reflects our ambition to provide exceptional opportunities for young people and to continue pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in education and sport," said McBride.
The programme will officially launch in September, marking the beginning of a partnership designed to help talented young golfers develop both on the course and in the classroom.
