A few months ago, Forbes released its list of the highest-earning golfers in 2025, with Jon Rahm once again expected to lead. The 30-year-old Spaniard earned $102 million, including $10 million off-course, as his tour switch continued to pay dividends.

But how do the American stars stack up? Here are the top five U.S. golfers by earnings.

5. Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau has one of the most recognizable faces in golf. Although he lost some sponsors because of his participation in the Saudi-based LIV tour in 2022, things are slowly getting better.

Reebok struck a deal with DeChambeau’s team, Crushers GC, and made him the face of “Reebok Golf apparel and footwear offerings.” He earned $45 million this year and won the LIV Korea tournament in May.

But that's not all. He has his own YouTube channel and he's using it to promote golf to over 2 million people.

4. Xander Schauffele

The 31-year-old Schauffele’s 2025 didn’t go as well as he wished, but he’s still enjoying the success of last season. In 2024, he won the PGA Championship and the British Open titles and earned $18.4 million in prize money, which was the highest Schauffele had ever received.

He has also earned $48 million because of his brand partnership with Blue Owl Capital and the Kentucky Derby.

3. Collin Morikawa

The 2021 Open Championship winner, Colin Morikawa, takes the 3rd spot on this list with $50 million in earnings this year.

Despite not winning any PGA title since October 2023, the World No. 4 has earned significant profit from his 11 partnerships with brands like Adidas, Kowa, and TaylorMade. Morikawa was also featured in Netflix’s documentary series Full Swing.

2. Tiger Woods

This list isn’t complete without mentioning Tiger Woods, one of the most recognizable golf personalities. He has earned $55 million, of which only $10 million was on-course due to his ongoing recovery and recent health setbacks. Woods co-founded the TGL golf league with Rory McIlroy this year, and its first season produced great numbers, drawing an average of 513,000 viewers for its weekly broadcasts, according to Nielsen.

1. Scottie Scheffler

With $97 million in total earnings in 2025, Scottie Scheffler became the highest-earning American golfer. The 28-year-old star continued his incredible form this year as well, winning the PGA Championship and the Open Championship. He has earned $30 million off-course as well, from endorsements with Nike, Rolex, NetJets, TaylorMade, and Veritex Community Bank.
