In 2026, Vijay Singh activated the Top 25 Career Money exemption, a one-time option available to players ranked inside the PGA Tour’s all-time top 50 in earnings.
Since Singh sits sixth on that list, the exemption gave him a route back into full-field events after he no longer held regular playing privileges on the main tour. That allowed him to tee it up in tournaments such as the 2026 Sony Open.
However, the exemption does not apply to signature events, which remain unavailable through this category.

Thirty-four-time PGA Tour winner Vijay Singh has earned about $71,281,216 million in PGA Tour prize money, which places him sixth on the Tour’s all-time money list, behind players such as Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Singh turned professional in 1982, before he turned 20 years old. Twenty-two years later, he produced his top season in 2004, winning nine times and earning $10.9 million.
As a result, Singh was named PGA Tour Player of the Year and moved ahead of Tiger Woods to hold the world No. 1 ranking for 32 consecutive weeks.
Since then, the 2004 season has remained one of the strongest single-year performances on tour.
Singh continued to add to his totals over the years. He finished first on the PGA Tour money list in 2003, 2004, and 2008, and he won the FedExCup in 2008.
